FAA A&P mechanic Job description:

Overview:

FAA A&P mechanics ensure the aircraft are maintained with the highest degree of safety
and are ready for scheduled flights.

  1. Perform maintenance in compliance with Company Manuals & Federal
    Regulations.
  2. Complete required training and actively maintain training currency as
    defined in Company Manuals.
  3. Participate actively in the development and improvement of maintenance
    methods.
  4. Maintain Line Maintenance related tooling, stands and ground equipment.
  5. Perform all aspects of Line Maintenance. (Troubleshooting, Engine Run &
    Taxi, etc.)
  6. Perform all work tasks with a high level of quality and safety.
  7. Ensure all paperwork and records are completed and handled as outlined in
    the Company Manuals & Federal Regulations.
  8. Provide regular predictable attendance.
  9. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties
    may change when circumstances dictate (e.g. emergencies, change in
    workload, rush jobs or technical developments).

FAA A&P mechanic job qualifications:

  • Hold a current Airframe and Powerplant FAA Certifications.
  • Willing and able to work any shift.
  • American Citizen or legal permission to work in the US. (Mandatory, we will not consider any application that does not comply with this requirement!)
